Officer Ammonia

To ensure the smooth running and maintenance of utility equipment and seamless Vanaspati production operations, while maintaining product quality, safety, and food compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities   Operate and maintain utility equipment including chillers, air compressors, ammonia systems, cold rooms, cooling towers, and air dryers.
Ensure cold room parameters are within control and that Vanaspati finished goods (FG) are delivered on time to dispatch.
Monitor and record equipment performance parameters during the shift.
Operate the ammonia plant used for refinery and bakery processes.
Adhere to safety, food safety, HACCP, and GMP standards.
Conduct daily pre-shift risk assessments and toolbox talks with the team.
Optimize manpower utilization and promote efficient team coordination.
Maintain 5S and good housekeeping standards, especially in the ammonia plant area.
Ensure timely cleaning and drying of Vanaspati tins for dispatch readiness.
Conduct regular health checks of machines and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
Minimize oil and packaging material wastage/damage.
Maintain accurate shift records, logbooks, and conduct proper shift handovers.
Technical Skills Required   Strong hands-on knowledge of:
Chillers

Ammonia Refrigeration Systems
Cold Rooms
Cooling Towers
Air Dryers
Preventive Maintenance (PM) & Troubleshooting
DCS / SCADA operations
Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and safety compliance
