Position OverviewThis role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment both at customer sites and in‑house. You’ll be the technical expert our clients rely on, ensuring their systems run reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues accurately.
- Provide technical support and training via phone, email, and on‑site visits.
- Service and repair retail scales, wrappers, and food packaging/processing equipment.
- Assist with equipment integration using basic IT and networking skills (routers, LANs, wireless access).
- Perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain company vehicle, laptop, and spare parts inventory.
- Deliver outstanding customer service across a diverse client base.
- Strong technical aptitude in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Clear, confident communication and a customer‑first mindset.
- Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Reliable, organized, and detail‑oriented approach to work.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Accredited HS Diploma/GED plus 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of food equipment service experience or similar technical field.
- Prior experience servicing food equipment.
- 3+ years of hands‑on electrical/mechanical work.
- Lift 50‑75 lbs with or without assistance.
- Drive 2‑5 hours/day and walk 1‑3 miles/day.
- Kneel, squat, bend, push/pull as needed.
- Work in varied conditions (heat, cold, wet, noisy environments).
- Available for overtime and on‑call duty.
