Base pay range

$33.02/hr - $52.11/hr

The Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care in a high-volume orthopedic clinic, supporting the surgeon and ensuring seamless patient flow. This role involves patient assessment, documentation, coordination of care, and adherence to nursing standards and organizational policies.

• Support a busy orthopaedic practice; assist provider with exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Obtain and document comprehensive nursing histories and perform focused assessments.
• Record and monitor vital signs; identify abnormal findings and communicate results promptly.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms; maintain supplies and equipment readiness.
• Provide patient education, triage, and consults according to established protocols.
• Coordinate surgery scheduling and post‑operative care as needed.
• Apply and remove casts and splints under provider direction.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to achieve care goals.
• Document care accurately and evaluate patient progress.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain clinical competencies.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent RN experience (2+ years preferred).
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required).
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and auto insurance.

• M-F
• 7:30/8a‑4:30/5p with a half day on Wednesday afternoons.
• Will cover clinic in Chilton on Thursday afternoons.
• Paid Sick Leave:
  Provided according to applicable state and local ordinances.
• Choose from six plans: 3 Major Medical options, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
• Eligibility begins after maintaining an average of 30 hours per week during the first 4 weeks of assignment.
• Coverage begins no earlier than 60 days into the assignment, depending on selected plan(s).
• 401(k):
  Eligibility begins after 6 consecutive months on assignment. Open enrollment dates:
  January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1.
