Position: Seasonal Quality Assurance Technician (Wed-Sun)

Seasonal Quality Assurance Technician (Wed‑Sun) (Transportation)

Horseshoe Beverage in Neenah, WI is looking for motivated individuals to work as a Quality Assurance Technician on a seasonal basis for up to 13 weeks. In this role, you'll help support our production lines by testing products, inspecting quality, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.

Wednesday‑Sunday:
Day Shift 5:45 am‑2:00 pm, Night Shift 5:45 pm‑2:00 am. Duration:
Seasonal, up to 13 weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Performs all activities associated with testing the physical and performance attributes of test products.
  • Maintains current knowledge of accepted methods, specifications, standards, and tolerances.
  • Places product that does not meet requirements on hold as needed.
  • Evaluates all products, including test results and related information, to make informed decisions on passing, holding, rejecting, dispositioning, or reworking products and takes appropriate action.
  • Communicates to the appropriate personnel when product samples do not meet requirements.
  • Responsible for accurate and thorough recording of all data and information related to quality.
  • Enter product testing/results into a computer system.
  • Responsible for complete upkeep and maintenance of these records.
  • Responsible for the day‑to‑day working conditions in the lab—including, but not limited to, cleanliness, orderliness, safety, routine maintenance, sanitation, organization of controls, samples, records, and files.
  • Responsible for adhering to food safety, quality, and regulatory policies and procedures; executing duties as outlined in standard operating procedures; and reporting any related concerns to the Production or Quality Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.
  • Previous experience with food processing, manufacturing or packaging required.
  • Previous experience with food manufacturing in the quality function preferred.
  • Passion for learning about food production and safety.
  • Team player able to work well with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting and judgment skills.
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and related production and product information systems.
  • Desire to work in a fast‑paced high growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
Hours, Location and Pay

This role works 5:45 am to 6:00 pm on a 2‑2‑3 schedule at our Little Chute, WI manufacturing facility. Competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full‑time employees.

Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
