The annual compensation range for this position is stated below and will be based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Salary Range: $32,900.00 - $49,300.00

Performs routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production. Visually inspects sub-assemblies and HLA level products using a magnifier or other tools and applies lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection.

• Participate as required on root cause activities.
• Enter standardized information into GSF.
• Supervise work area according to 5S standards.
• Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production. Visually inspect sub-assemblies and HLA level products using a magnifier or other tools and using lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection.
• Keep supervisors informed and escalate issues when needed.

• A minimum of a middle school certificate is required.
• Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, Backend).
• Six months of related experience in manufacturing process is required; one (1) or more years of related experience in the position is preferred.
• Intermediate electronic manufacturing experience, including knowledge of workmanship standards, is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

• Advanced reading, writing and math skills (12th grade level).
• Inspection skills; knowledge of PCBA and HLA product builds.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information.
• Must complete training for and become certified for Quality Assurance within six months of obtaining the position and maintain QA certification to remain in the position.
• Basic PC skills (keyboard/mouse, using Google Workspace or MS Windows) and familiarity with Plexus software packages.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods and handle a PCB by turning, flipping and angling it.
• Specific vision abilities required, including close vision for computer monitor, inspection equipment, and must meet visual acuity requirements.
• General office equipment and materials.

• Role will work in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment with required PPE. The environment includes comfortable temperatures, repetitive low noise, and suitable lighting for required tasks.
• Role may require physical stamina with strong manual dexterity and fine motor control for precise measurement equipment and delicate tools/components.
• Visual inspection may require acute near vision and the ability to work with magnifiers, cameras and other vision systems.
