** About The Opportunity
** The Assembly Associate is responsible for assembling reusable and recyclable packaging interiors (dunnage) using a variety of hand tools and equipment. This role supports production goals by ensuring all products meet safety, quality, and delivery standards. Assemblies may include plastic corrugate and/or foam components and require attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility across multiple work cells. ** Key Duties and Responsibilities
*** Assemble parts according to print drawings and work instructions.
* Insert completed assemblies into plastic containers.
* Perform self and peer quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
* Immediately report safety concerns or quality issues to the Cell Lead, Set-Up Technician, or Supervisor.
* Rotate between different work cells and machines as needed during the shift.
* Verify correct parts and materials against work orders prior to assembly.
* Calculate cycle time (takt time) to support production requirements.
* Safely and effectively use basic hand tools, including: + Rivet gun + Handheld sonic welder + Hot air welder + Glue gun and glue line + Manual hot wire bender
* Develop operational knowledge of additional equipment, including: + Baler + Drill press + Band saw
* Successfully complete required training, including: + Print Drawing Training + Tape Measure Training + 17–21 Day Training Program
* Accurately complete all required paperwork related to assigned tasks.
* Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with Standardized Work (STW) documentation.
* Actively participate in Continuous Improvement (CI), 5S, and STW initiatives.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
** Qualifications
*
* Required:
* Ability to read print drawings and use a tape measure accurately
* Willingness to work in a manufacturing/production environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
* Minimum of 6 months of experience in assembly manufacturing and/or as a machine operator
