- Second shift receives an ADDITIONAL $1.35/hour!

- Machine Operator:
Operate a wire-binding or pad-making machine with a crew to assist in order to meet and exceed production goals. - Trimmer Operator:
Operate a trimmer to ensure product is cut to correct size and specifications to meet quality standards and production goals. - Sheeter Operator:
Operate a sheeter that converts large rolls of paper into a usable format to support wire-binding and pad-machine lines and achieve production goals.
- Be a leader in safety and quality standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical and system issues
- Perform machine set-ups and change-overs to different types of products
- Process, understand, and plan for orders
- Participate in training of other team members and improvement of own skillset in order to operate multiple machines within the plant
- Take direction from management, supervisors, and operators
- Complete varied tasks within the plant, including frequently lifting items of up to 50 pounds and infrequently lifting items of up to 75 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable using computerized equipment
- Communicate and work effectively with a diverse workforce
- Operate lift equipment, stand-up or sit-down, at heights of up to 25 feet, as needed
- Prior machine operator or trimming experience is preferred.
- Must possess basic math skills that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and calculation of averages.
- Ability to read standard and metric rulers.
- Ability to use light tools such as wrenches, channel locks, and screw drivers.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and problem solve in a variety of situations.
- Ability to work individually and in small groups.
- Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office related software.
- The employee may experience variable working conditions in the work environment. Examples include, but are not limited to, temperature variations, dust, noise, and exposure to moving mechanical parts.
