Overview
As the Vice President of Facilities, you will lead the strategy and operations behind all facilities management, construction, maintenance, and real estate initiatives. You will ensure our buildings, branches, and work spaces are safe, efficient, and aligned with organizational growth.
This role blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership – creating spaces that reflect our values, enhance the member and employee experience, and support the long-term strength and sustainability of the organization.
Responsibilities- Lead facilities strategy and capital projects, including new branch construction, relocations, remodels, and office improvements.
- Manage real estate and optimize our portfolio. Develop multi-year strategies, conduct research to support expansion, and lead lease negotiations.
- Strengthen safety, security, and compliance. Physical security, emergency and crisis response, and regulatory compliance are all in your wheelhouse!
- Drive vendor, budget, and operational excellence, including contracts and SLAs, financial oversight of plans and performance, and ongoing preventive maintenance
- Lead our high-performing operations and maintenance teams. Pride of place could not be more evident in the care we take of our buildings and grounds, where a safe and welcoming environment is paramount.

- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or PMP/CFM certification preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in facilities management, corporate real estate, or construction, including multi-site operations.
- Proven track record managing complex projects, budgets, and teams.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale construction, renovation, and capital planning initiatives.
- Deep understanding of safety, security, ADA, OSHA, NFPA, and building code requirements.
- Strong ability to negotiate leases, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Strategic, systems-based thinking with the ability to connect facilities planning to long-term organizational goals.
- Skilled communicator who builds strong relationships and drives cross-functional alignment.
- Decisive, transparent leadership style focused on results, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Strong proficiency in technology for project management, financial analysis, and presentation development.
- Experience in managing one or more of the following preferred: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
- Valid driver license is required.
