Position SummaryJ. J. Keller is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst – SAP who will serve as a strategic partner between IT and Manufacturing, driving optimization, process improvement, and system innovation across the organization. This role requires SAP expertise in PPDS and PP
, combined with strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for manufacturing teams.
This individual will own and manage requests, prioritize enhancements, and guide stakeholders through decisions regarding system capabilities, limitations, and business impact. The ideal candidate is assertive, highly organized, capable of multitasking, and comfortable leading conversations across technical and non‑technical audiences.
This position is required to work fully onsite or hybrid (in office at least 3 days/week) at our corporate office in Neenah, WI.
Job Responsibilities- Leads and supports technology-related projects, including new system implementations and system upgrades.
- Serves as the subject matter expert in SAP PPDS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling) and SAP PP (Production Planning & Execution).
- Ideally brings working knowledge of SAP OTC (Order to Cash), AVC (Advanced Variant Configuration), and MM (Material Master) modules.
- Identifies, analyzes, and facilitates the implementation of new and enhanced SAP technologies to support manufacturing operations.
- Works with business unit analysts to define business needs, project requirements, system specifications, and deliverables.
- Participates in system configuration, testing, data conversion, and troubleshooting activities.
- Provides timely 2nd‑level support for help desk calls, performs trend analysis, and recommends solutions to recurring issues.
- Prepares and updates documentation including functional specifications, testing procedures, end‑user guides, and SOPs.
- Provides hands-on guidance and support to end users adapting to new system features.
- Provides regular communication and status reporting to stakeholders, including executives.
- Facilitates structured testing efforts for all SAP changes and enhancements.
- Supports change management to ensure smooth adoption across manufacturing teams.
- Performs process improvement work (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to streamline workflows and enhance system utilization.
- 8+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst/Systems Analyst working with SAP, including hands-on experience with SAP PPDS and SAP PP modules.
- Experience with SAP OTC, AVC, and MM preferred.
- Demonstrated experience effectively leading cross-functional project teams and technology related projects to successful completion.
- 3+ years formal project methodology experience (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology or Project Management related field.
- In lieu of the bachelor's degree, will consider an additional 4 years of directly related experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master certification or other related project management certification desirable.
- Proficiency with standard office software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Atlassian Confluence).
- SAP System implementation and configuration experience a plus.
- Experience with project management tracking software, Jira Service Module preferred.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users at all levels of the organization.
