Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts (primary days)

• Day shift: 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Night shift: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM

• 36 guaranteed hours per week

• Every other weekend required

• Holiday rotation as needed depending on unit needs

• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all facilities within a 60-mile radius

• No on-call or call back requirements

• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of absence

• 8-hour non-billable orientation required

• Required certifications: WI RN (or compact) License, AHA BLS, and NIHSS

• Minimum 3+ years experience as an RN and 1 travel contract required

• ICU/IMC experience strongly preferred

• EPIC charting experience within the last year strongly preferred

• Experience with stroke and post-op back/spine/cervical procedures desired

• Black scrubs required

• Care for neurology patients including stroke patients and post-op patients from brain/neck/spine surgeries

• Manage trauma patients and traumatic brain injury cases

• Patient ratio of 1:4 on 16-bed unit

• Associate Degree or Certificate required

• Previous travel experience within 50+ miles of facility location required

This healthcare organization operates a 16-bed neurology unit specializing in comprehensive neurological care. The facility focuses on treating stroke patients, post-operative patients from brain, neck, and spine surgeries, trauma patients, and traumatic brain injury cases. The unit maintains optimal staffing with typically 4-5 RNs per shift and 2 patient care technicians, ensuring quality patient care in a supportive team environment.

Adex Job  . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
