Position: Caregiver / Team Leader NOC shift

TEAM LEADER DO?

As a Full-Time Team Leader at Valley VNA Senior Care, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You'll provide compassionate personal care, facilitating daily routines and ensuring comfort for retired individuals.

When filling in for the shift manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that both residents and staff thrive in a safe, comfortable environment. Your evening routine will involve supervising resident care, including medication administration and personal care assistance, while preparing for the next shift through essential documentation and communication with incoming managers. You will lead evening staff, providing support and direction to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.

Throughout your day, you'll engage in effective communication with residents and families, addressing concerns with proactive problem-solving and maintaining compliance with regulations. Quality assurance is paramount; you'll monitor care standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are
:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year previous experience in caregiving or a related field - (preferably working with seniors)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assist with personal care tasks and mobility assistance.
  • CBRF certifications preferred but not required.
