The Unit Customer Service Specialist / Secretary is responsible for performing a variety of secretarial and administrative duties to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the assigned nursing unit. This role focuses on patient satisfaction, efficient communication, and maintaining organized unit operations.
Responsibilities- Provide secretarial and administrative support on the nursing unit to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent. CPR certification within the first 60 days of employment. Fluent in English. Willing to work flexible hours.
- Preferred: Data entry experience and some knowledge of computer programs.
- Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology, self-motivation, and sound judgment in handling patient and visitor inquiries. Possesses strong concentration skills, efficiently prioritizing tasks, adapting to change, and multitasking while performing duties quickly and accurately.
This job will be authorized 48.00 hours bi-weekly.
