Position Overview

The Lead Event Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of events from initial consultation through post‑event completion. This role acts as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors and provides on‑site leadership to ensure events are delivered in accordance with company standards, timelines, and client expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all logistical aspects of assigned events

  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, vendors, venues, and internal teams

  • Develop and maintain event timelines, schedules, and operational plans

  • Lead, supervise, and support event staff and contractors on event days

  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure quality and safety standards are met

  • Monitor event progress and proactively resolve issues as they arise

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and brand standards

  • Complete post‑event evaluations and reporting as required

Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in event coordination, event management, or a related field

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities

  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

  • Ability to lift and transport event equipment as necessary

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
