Electronics Technician

Electronics Technician – Contract to Hire position in Neenah, WI. Become part of Actalent's highly skilled team of 10 technicians supporting automated electronic assembly equipment.

Play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of automated electronic assembly equipment. Responsibilities include setup, programming, customer thermal profiling, and proactive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Training and development are provided.

• Perform light maintenance and repairs on SMT equipment; identify root causes of failures and implement solutions.
• Utilize CIM/CAM/CAD data to create machine‑positioning programs aligned with customer specifications.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and assist in developing product build techniques.
• Create thermal profiles to ensure compliance with industry standards and process yield requirements.
• Conduct statistical measurements (CPK/PPK) to maintain process control and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, provide technical leadership, and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Electrical troubleshooting and electro‑mechanical skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and CAD/CAM data.
• Knowledge of SMT equipment operation and maintenance.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• 1 year completed of an Associate’s degree in electromechanical, manufacturing systems, or related field OR diploma in Electronics, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Science.
• 1–3 years preferred in electro‑mechanical or maintenance roles.
• Equivalent education/experience combination considered.

The team consists of 10 technicians supporting a facility in Neenah. The work environment is supportive of continuous growth and education, with flexibility to help meet individual goals.

Pay range: $20.00 – $36.06 per hour.
