Warehouse Clamp Lead - Day Shift

We are looking for a Clamp Lead to be responsible for covering the mill floor operations at our K-C Cold Springs Facility. This position will report to the Shift Supervisor and is on a 2-2-3 shift schedule working 6AM – 6PM. You work only 7 out of 14 days. With this schedule, you are off for 3 consecutive days (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) every other weekend!

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assign direction including assets and paperwork to Clamp Operators
• Set break schedule for Clamp Operators and cover lines while they are on break
• Coordinate the stack off requirements as needed to support continuous converting line operations
• Check in each shift with assets and see if they have any upcoming concerns
• Contain any quality hold product
• Ensure that all work areas are kept clean
• Maintain line schedule and ensure raw materials in house for the next 24 hours
• Conduct Safety Observations each shift

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must demonstrate knowledge of inventory and damage control processes
• Excellent respectful communication along with good organizational skills
• Demonstrated adherence to all policies and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and perform duties efficiently and accurately unsupervised
• Demonstrated ability to interact with diverse personalities
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills modeling professional behavior

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum one year of warehouse experience.
• Minimum two years of operating on propane/electric forklift.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit for extended periods through hot and cold temperatures.
• Ability to repetitively twist turn to drive in reverse, stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed.
• Ability to turn steering wheel on lift truck requiring full rotation of arms and shoulders.
• Must be willing and able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, and slide, push, or pull cases up to 50 pounds.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
