Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Advisor
360°, we build technology that transforms how wealth management firms operate, scale, and serve their clients. As a leading SaaS platform in the fintech space, we’re trusted by some of the largest independent broker-dealers and RIAs to power the full advisor and client experience—from portfolio construction and reporting to compliance and client engagement.

What sets us apart? It's not just the tech (though it's best-in-class). It's the people, the purpose, and the passion behind everything we do.

We’re a team of builders, thinkers, and doers who believe that great companies are defined by the stories they tell and the experiences they create—internally and externally. We bring deep industry expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to innovation as we reshape what’s possible in wealth management.

As we grow, we’re looking for teammates who are ready to roll up their sleeves, think big, and help elevate our brand in a way that reflects the bold ambitions we have for our company and the clients we serve. Join us, and be part of a company that's not only moving fast—but making it count.

This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters.

Advisor
360° is hiring a Software Engineer, Automation & AI to build and test shared services and tools, drive operational excellence, and automate systems in our hybrid-cloud environment. This role requires balancing tactical automation solutions with strategic implementation, from developing scripts to resolve customer-impacting issues to creating sustainable automation frameworks for long-term initiatives.

Here’s

What You’ll Do:
  • Work back from the customer to drive and own Quality within your team.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders employing a “shift left” mentality. Work with Product/Design/etc. to understand and clearly shape the “definition of done.”
  • Treat AI as a first-class engineering tool — accelerate our delivery timelines, surface edge cases earlier, and raise the quality bar beyond what traditional approaches alone can achieve. Finding bugs is cool, but you know what’s cooler? Preventing them in the first place.
  • Use AI to accelerate the translation of requirements into test strategies — turning documentation into actionable, high-coverage test plans.
  • Champion and evolve our quality engineering culture by establishing AI-forward best practices — from AI-assisted test generation and triage to intelligent coverage analysis — setting the standard for how the team works smarter, not just harder.
  • Assist in manual testing where applicable. We employ an automation first strategy, but manual testing is an important tool in our toolbox.
  • Design and develop automated tests in collaboration with engineers to ensure software quality and efficiency.
  • Engage in software release activities when required.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 5+ years of software quality assurance experience.
  • A data-driven mindset amplified by AI — you don't just analyze problems, you actively use intelligent tooling to surface patterns, prioritize risk, and make sharper decisions faster.
  • A demonstrated habit of reaching for AI tools first — Copilot, Claude, Augment, and others — to write better code faster, reduce rework, and continuously discover smarter approaches to quality challenges.
  • Understanding of code architecture best practices such as reusability, maintainability, scalability, and abstraction.
  • Experience and understanding of source control (Bit Bucket/Git Hub) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions).
  • Experience working with REST APIs and usage of tools like Swagger and Postman.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases and capability to dig into and understand data.
  • Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication across disciplines and teams.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

It’s not just about work—it’s about building a career and enjoying the ride! Here’s what you can expect:

The estimated base salary range for this position is $106,000– $123,000+ bonus & equity.
