This role can be remote or hybrid onsite 3 days a week in our Needham, MA location.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our growing go‑to‑market team. In this role, you’ll partner with Account Executives to help prospective clients understand how the Advisor
360° platform solves their challenges, supports their workflows, and drives business outcomes. You’ll play a critical role throughout the sales process—from discovery and technical consultation to product demonstrations and RFP support.

This is a great opportunity for a technically‑minded professional with a background in SaaS and a passion for translating complex solutions into clear business value. A background in financial services or fintech is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Solution Strategy & Sales Enablement:
    Collaborate with the sales team to lead discovery conversations, identify client needs, and develop compelling solution strategies.
  • Product Expertise & Demonstration:
    Deliver high‑impact, customized product demonstrations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Configuration & Customization:
    Translate complex client requirements into practical solution configurations leveraging the Advisor
    360° platform.
  • Cross‑functional

    Collaboration:

    Partner with Product, Engineering, and Client Solutions teams to ensure technical viability and successful solution alignment.
  • Documentation & Support:
    Contribute to Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, solution documentation, and manage the demo environment setup.
  • Subject Matter Expert:
    Serve as the internal and external expert on the platform’s capabilities, including integrations, APIs, and security protocols.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and typical client workflows.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    5+ years in enterprise consulting, solution architecture, or pre‑sales engineering, preferably in a SaaS or tech‑enabled services environment.
  • Consulting Expertise:
    Deep understanding of business processes, operations, and workflow optimization.
  • Technical Design:
    Proven ability to design data models and integrations (APIs, ETL processes), especially with systems such as CRMs, ERPs, OMSs, and Portfolio Management Systems.
  • Documentation & Prototyping:
    Demonstrated skill in writing clear business and technical requirements and translating them into prototypes or Proofs of Concept (POCs).
  • Implementation

    Skills:

    Hands‑on experience with configuring, testing, and iterating SaaS solutions.
  • Sales Acumen:
    Strong enterprise sales presence, with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and effectively support long sales cycles.
  • Learning Agility: A fast learner who can quickly and confidently adapt to new industries and use cases.
  • Work Ethic:
    Detail‑oriented, organized, and process‑driven, capable of managing multiple engagements concurrently with clarity.
  • Communication:
    Strong executive presence with excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry

    Experience:

    Prior experience in regulated industries, such as insurance or financial services.
  • Technical Foundation:
    Strong ability to fluently discuss architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Fluent in SQL, advanced Excel skills ("wizardry"), or Python scripting. Experience with prompt engineering is a plus.
