The Medical Billing and Bookkeeping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily financial operations and billing functions within a dynamic healthcare organization. This full-time, onsite position supports both the finance and administrative teams, ensuring accuracy in billing, bookkeeping, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in healthcare or medical office administration, demonstrated longevity in past roles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports to assist leadership in decision-making
- Oversee medical billing, insurance claims, and collections, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance and Clinical Director to develop and monitor budgets
- Maintain compliance with accounting principles, regulatory policies, and healthcare billing guidelines
- Use software such as Quick Books and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for daily operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of experience, OR 10+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience without a degree
- Must be proficient in Quick Books desktop version
- Proven track record of stability and long-term employment in prior roles
- Experience managing billing, financial reporting, and HR support in clinical or healthcare settings
- Knowledge of EHR or practice management systems (e.g., Kareo, Athenahealth, or Advanced
MD) - Familiarity with healthcare credentialing and compliance procedures
- Prior experience supporting both finance and clinical leadership teams
