As a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist at The Ely Center, LLC, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in individuals across various age groups. You will work closely with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement customized treatment plans that promote effective communication and improve their quality of life. This position offers a flexible schedule to accommodate both clients and the incumbent.
Key Responsibilities May Include:- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services to clients, including articulation therapy, language intervention, building on social learning, and executive function skill development.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients' families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
- Educate clients and their families on effective communication strategies and techniques.
- Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, continuing education opportunities, and professional development activities.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards as outlined by the American. Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing boards.
- Support the owner/director SLP with daily duties.
- Provide 1:1/small group social learning, coaching, and speech-language therapy.
- Interface with parents, caregivers, and outside professionals to define curriculum, teach/reinforce explicit skills, respond to questions, and inform carryover of skills.
- Potential to lead unique social intensive therapeutic programs for students preK through 12 with support from the Director.
Salary Range = $60-$90 per billable hour
