Healthcare Bookkeeper - Up to $80k per year
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Needham, MA. This long-term role is essential to supporting our company’s financial operations, HR functions, and administrative needs. - Manage daily financial operations: bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, and support budgeting and financial planning
- Oversee client billing processes, including collections and claims
- Handle HR functions: clinician credentialing, staff onboarding, and benefits enrollment
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory standards, and audits
- Utilize Quick Books, Microsoft Office Suite, and both Windows/Mac systems
- Collaborate with leadership and staff to provide accurate, timely support
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; consideration given for 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience in data entry, with extensive financial and bookkeeping responsibilities
- Proficiency in Quick Books (desktop version) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills, decision-making ability, and multitasking capability
- Experience in the medical/healthcare industry or claims processing as it relates to the responsibilities
- Ability to work on-site in Needham, MA
Experience and Skills:
- Familiarity with HR processes such as credentialing, onboarding, compliance, and benefits management
- Experience balancing financial reporting with HR functions
