The Needham Public Schools is seeking outstanding candidates for a Resource Nurse for our Summer Programs. Needham Public School District is an inclusive, dynamic, and multicultural community seeking an energetic, skilled, and warm nurse to join our Summer team. Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be held on a rolling basis
Position is district-wide:
* Weeks 1- 5:
July 6th-August 6th (Monday - Friday 8-3) plus additional prep days the week of July 1
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate has worked as a registered nurse in a school health, child health, community health, or relevant pediatric/adolescent clinical care setting. The candidate is able to assume the full scope of responsibilities of the school nurse position. Provide support to the other summer program nurses. Other duties as assigned.
* Experience and Massachusetts Nursing license
* Expertise in SNAP electronic health records
* Valid AHA CPR certification
* Experience and interest in working with students
* Own transportation to travel between schools as needed
Compensation: $54.02/hr
