Job DescriptionNeedham Public School District is an inclusive, dynamic, and multicultural community seeking an energetic, skilled, and warm School Nurse to join our Summer Team. The Needham Public Schools is seeking outstanding candidates for the School Nurse position for our Summer Programs (PreK‑8).
Applications due by April 12. Applications will be reviewed and interviews held on a rolling basis. Please indicate which weeks of Summer Programming you are available to work.
Positions located at the Sunita Williams, Needham High, and High Rock Schools:
- 3 Nurses:
July 6 – August 6 (days and hours vary by assignment). Extra hours July 1–3 for program preparation and paperwork review. - 2 Nurses:
July 6 – August 6 (days and hours vary by assignment). Extra hours July 1–3 for program preparation and paperwork review.
Qualifications: A qualified candidate has worked as a registered nurse in a school health, child health, community health, or relevant pediatric/adolescent clinical care setting. The candidate is able to assume the full scope of responsibilities of the school nurse position and tasks assigned by the director of Health Services or the Summer Resource Nurse.
- Experience and a nursing license.
- Valid AHA CPR certification.
- Experience and interest in working with students in grades PreK‑8.
Compensation: $54.02/hour
