About the Company Seeking a Senior Accountant:
- Founded over 65 years ago with 1,000+ employees across the United States
- Focused on supporting growth within their company, especially for underserved communities
- Partnered with local volunteer organizations, they facilitate donations of time and money
- This is an added position due to growth, reporting to the controller
- Hybrid working environment
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Create financial statements and assist with budgeting efforts
- Produce financial reporting based on department data
- Act as a contact for internal and external auditors
- Assist with annual audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or experience equivalent (+4 years)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a senior role
- Proficiency in a major ERP and advanced Excel skills
- Proven track record of process documentation and improvement
