- Houdt toezicht op de naleving van gemeentelijke regels en wetgeving;
- Gaat in gesprek met burgers over gedragsregels en treedt corrigerend op waar nodig;
- Handhaaft bij overlastsituaties zoals geluidsoverlast, zwerfafval of foutparkeren;
- Controleert op het gebied van milieu, openbare orde, parkeren en horeca;
- Stelt heldere rapportages en processen-verbaal op bij overtredingen;
- Werkt nauw samen met politie, toezichthouders en andere partners;
- Signaleert knelpunten in de openbare ruimte en denkt mee over oplossingen.
