Location: Orchard
Healthcare Driver (5 days, office hours) #HKN
Location: West (Island-wide when needed)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm, with possible weekend duties when required.
Salary: Up to $2800
Job Description- Provide safe and timely transportation for healthcare staff conducting home visits and travelling to/from headquarters.
- Drive assigned sedan vehicles, primarily within the western region, with occasional island-wide travel.
- Ensure punctual pick-ups and drop-offs in accordance with daily schedules.
- Plan efficient routes in collaboration with clinicians and nurses; adapt to schedule changes when required.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain vehicle readiness, cleanliness, and overall roadworthiness.
- Assist with loading and unloading of medical equipment and supplies
- Monitor and top up consumables and necessary supplies.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and immediately report any incidents or accidents.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and unforeseen situations.
- Maintain familiarity with alternate routes to ensure service continuity.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
- Represent the organization professionally and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Work closely with clinicians, nurses, operations teams, and fleet coordinators to support smooth home-based care operations.
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level qualification or equivalent.
- Valid Class 3 driving licence (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in healthcare support services, fleet, or transport operations.
- Experience transporting passengers and/or medical equipment in time-sensitive environments is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws, with an excellent driving record and no traffic violations.
- Proficient in GPS navigation and route-planning tools.
- Strong time management skills with demonstrated punctuality.
- Ability to adapt to ad-hoc schedule changes and operational needs
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with healthcare and operations teams.
- Basic vehicle troubleshooting skills (e.g., checking tyre pressure, battery, warning indicators)
- Professional, patient, and courteous demeanor with a customer service mindset.
