Summary
Transportation Driver FIRST then AS NEEDED to provide Maintenance Services to our GSA Vehicle Fleet under the OTN Carl T. Curtis Health Education Center.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position will be a Transportation Driver first then will be responsible for maintaining all GSA Fleet Vehicle Maintenance, as needed. Duties include, but, not limited to:
- Transport patients, as needed.
- Work Closely with Transportation Supervisor on vehicle maintenance issues
- Ensure that all program vehicles are clean and vehicles are fueled up.
- Schedule cleaning of all vehicles.
- Schedule all vehicle mechanical upkeep: i.e. oil changes, tire repairs, and general repairs.
- Maintain Vehicle Log of Program vehicles.
- Work closely with GSA to return or upgrade of GSA vehicles.
- Work closely with PD regarding GSA Incident reports involving program vehicles.
- Daily Inspections of all vehicles for any damages.
- Make sure that all programs are keeping all mileage log sheets.
- Report and cite programs that are not complying with daily upkeep of vehicles.
- Relocate vehicles that need to be moved for facility services.
- Assess all vehicles that may need repair.
- Other Duties Assigned.

Education and/or Experience- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable with CTCHEC insurance.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours to cover shifts. Late shift or weekends, as needed.
