JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

You must be 18 years old with a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record that meets company standards, and have access to a suitable insured vehicle. You should possess navigational skills for maps, addresses, and adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES FOR ALL STORE TEAM MEMBERS

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.

TRAINING

Orientation and training provided on the job.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SKILLS

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for quick, accurate movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings while carrying product.

WORK CONDITIONS EXPOSURE TO

• Varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F+ in some areas.
• Sudden temperature changes indoors and outdoors.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Adverse weather during delivery, driving, and couponing.

SENSING

• Phone talk and hearing; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
• Depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
• Far and night vision for driving.

TEMPERAMENTS

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, driving, and performing tasks that involve hands, feet, and hands‑to‑body coordination.

REQUIRES

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
