Part Time Counselor Pool
The Department of Counseling & Psychological Services at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its part‑time Counselor pool.

This is a general recruitment for a pool of part‑time counselors for the department to draw from as needed. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.
Appointments from the part‑time pool are temporary. Applicants must be available on very short notice.
Required Qualifications- PhD, PsyD. degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field or equivalent experience
- CA License as a Psychologist
- Prior supervision experience at the doctoral level
- Ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first‑generation college students
- Significant experience working with diverse college populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment
- Relevant performance and professional experience
- Letter of Interest or Cover Letter explaining your experience and qualifications for the position

Regular performance evaluations of part‑time counselors are made by the department in accordance with the faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070. These evaluations determine which counselors will be retained for future and continued counseling assignments.
Compensation- Temporary Counselor classification salary range: $7,830 to $14,109 per month (antecedent not to exceed $8,104 per month)
- Full‑time monthly base salaries indicated above are prorated to the time base assigned.

About the DepartmentCAPS offers support for students facing personal challenges and mental health concerns. Services include short‑term individual counseling, group counseling, case management, referral, psycho educational workshops, and crisis intervention. The team includes psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and graduate‑level interns under supervision.
