This classification level is responsible for providing case management and supervision of high‑risk individuals entered into the Problem‑Solving Court program, post‑release supervision, or other high‑risk adult and juvenile probationers for specialized cases including sex offenders, domestic violence offenders, and drug offenses. dị responsibilities include:
- Performing pre‑sentence investigations.
- Classification and clinical assessments to identify needs.
- Developing case plans to track and manage goals.
- Working with treatment providers within the community.
- Investigating violations and discussing sanctions.
- Conducting cognitive group therapy meetings.
- Conducting and monitoring drug tests.
- Preparing and submitting probationer progress reports.
- Performing field and home visits for assessment and reassessment.
- Supervising and monitoring targeted, program‑specific high‑risk individuals on probation or post‑release supervision.
- Performing counseling, case management, and case reporting under close supervision.
- Developing a team supervision approach with referral sources such as probation officers, navigation officers, Problem Solving Court Team members, county۹ jail staff, and prison caseworkers.
- Participating in the treatment process and engaging in the probationer’s or participant’s treatment through regular communication with providers and attendance at treatment groups and facilities; assisting in the development of relapse‑prevention plans.
- Facilitating groups that may include, but are not limited to, topical, supervision groups, cognitive programs, skill‑building, life skills enhancement, and general education of clients. Preparing violation reports, compliance reports, and conducting record checks; entering and updating client information into appropriate systems; determining reports to send to the court for updates.
- Performing other duties of a similar nature or level.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social services, criminal justice, or a directly related field AND 2 years of experience in case management in a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job渡.
All educational credits must be from an accredited institution approved by the U.S. Dept. of Education.

Incumbents may be subjected to environmental threats, odors, dusts, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, and travel. Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 10 pounds frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm or leg controls requires exertion greater than for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
