Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Master Plumber to join our team and build our new sewer and water installation division from the ground up. In this role, you'll lead installations, ensure compliance with local regulations, and help grow the team as we expand operations in Omaha. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a key part of our company's future while delivering essential services to the community.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of sewer and water installation projects, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Collaborate with company leadership to develop processes, budgets, and timelines for the new division.
Perform hands-on plumbing work, including diagnosing issues, installing systems, and conducting repairs on sewer lines, water mains, and related infrastructure.
Ensure all work complies with Nebraska state plumbing codes, Omaha municipal regulations, and environmental standards.
Mentor junior plumbers or apprentices as the division grows and assist in hiring additional team members.
Manage project documentation, permits, and client communications to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate innovative techniques for efficient installations.
Must-Have Qualifications
Valid Master Plumber license in the state of Nebraska (or ability to obtain reciprocity if licensed elsewhere).
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a licensed plumber, with a focus on sewer and water systems.
Proven expertise in commercial/residential sewer and water installation, including excavation, piping, and backflow prevention.
Strong knowledge of local Omaha codes, OSHA safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience starting or leading a plumbing division or team.
Certifications in backflow testing, trenchless technology, or green plumbing practices.
Background in construction or infrastructure projects beyond plumbing.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $ per year
