To complement our team, we are looking for a customer‑oriented and team‑oriented individual for our Industrial X‑Ray Modules division at the Shelton site.

Head of Regional Sales, X‑ray‑NDT

In the Industrial X‑Ray Modules (IXM) division, we provide safer, more economical and breakthrough solutions for non‑destructive testing and security applications through the pioneering development of intelligent industrial X‑ray technologies.

Summary

The Head of Regional Sales is accountable for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic customer development across the region. This role combines commercial leadership, strategic execution, and team management to deliver sustainable business performance aligned with global objectives.

Location: Job location is preferred Shelton, CT vicinity, but can be remote/hybrid with regular travel to Shelton.

What You Will Do
  • Own and grow revenue, sales volume, and target achievement, by developing and executing a region‑specific sales strategy and initiatives aligned with global priorities.
  • Expand key accounts and acquire new customers, while leading high‑level negotiations, pricing strategy, and commercial decision‑making.
  • Translate advanced technology benefits into compelling value propositions for customers.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI reporting.
  • Travel 30–40% within the region and internationally for customer, partner, and industry events.
Leadership
  • Lead and develop a team of Sales Account Managers and Technical Support Managers.
  • Foster a performance‑driven culture focused on accountability, growth, and customer success.
  • Collaborate with peer regional sales leaders to ensure strategic alignment and best‑practice sharing.
What You Bring
  • Strong track record in industrial X‑ray, CT technology, or Non‑Destructive Testing.
  • 10+ years of experience in capital equipment or technically complex B2B sales.
  • Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and closing deals.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capability and entrepreneurial drive.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Business fluent English; proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce) and MS Office.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field.

Compensation for this sales role is comprised of both a base salary and Sales Incentive Compensation. The estimated annual base salary for this job is approximately $155,000 to $175,000.
