Nebraska Sales Representative
The Nebraska Sales Representative role at Dinges Fire Company involves planning and executing all sales activities within assigned accounts or territories. The position requires ensuring customer satisfaction, managing quality of product and service delivery, developing relationships with Fire and EMT decision‑makers, and upholding the company’s "Help First" philosophy to make departmental work safer and more comfortable.
General PurposePlan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery. Develop relationships with all Fire and EMT decision‑makers in designated territory.
Main Job Tasks, Duties And Responsibilities- Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
- Schedule sales activity.
- Make sales calls to new and existing customers.
- Develop and present company products and services to current and potential clients.
- Negotiate with clients.
- Develop sales proposals.
- Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
- Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
- Follow up on sales activity.
- Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management.
- Participate in sales events and training.
- Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of customer service principles.
- Knowledge of basic business principles.

- All salespersons are 1099 independent contractors. Pay is comprised entirely of commissions with unlimited potential! Earn approximately 40% of the gross profit on each sale.
- DFC offers the opportunity to work full‑time as the primary income source or part‑time for a strong secondary income. Most salespersons are also firefighters. While being a firefighter is not mandatory, it is highly recommended because it provides a strong knowledge base for the products and services offered.
