Diamond & Jewelry Specialist | GIA Grading | Retail Private Gallery
Position: Gemmologist Specialist / Manager
Industry: Precious Gemstones, Rare Gem, Diamonds Collections
Working Hours: 5.5 Work Days, 9‑6pm (Mon to Fri), 9am to 1pm Saturday
Off Days: Sunday & Public Holidays
Location: Office near Orchard MRT (Private Sales Gallery & Office)
Starting Salary: $5000 to $7000 + Bonus
Requirements- Minimum 5+ years working experience in the retail luxury industry, preferable in a jewellery field.
- Certified Gemmologist (GIA, FGA or other relevant certification) is an advantage.
- Experience in gem identification, diamond grading, jewellery appraisal or gemological services is a plus.
- Utilize advanced gemmological instruments and techniques to accurately identify and grade gemstones, including diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls.
- Provide expert advice to clients on gemstone selection, care and investment.
- Assist in the selection of gemstones for jewellery design and creation.
- Sourcing and procurement of gemstones.
- Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of gemstone inventory. - Monitor gemstone market trends and advise on potential investments.
- Coordinate with designers and workshop on new product development.
