Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team on the full‑time overnight shift.
The RN plays a vital role in ensuring high‑quality, person‑centered care by overseeing clinical operations, supporting nursing staff, and responding to resident needs during overnight hours. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a calm, focused environment and values autonomy, critical thinking, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and established nursing standards
- Monitor residents’ conditions, assess changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs or emergencies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Supervise and support CNAs, Med Aides, and other overnight nursing staff
- Ensure proper documentation of care, assessments, and incidents in the electronic medical record
- Communicate effectively with on‑call providers, leadership, and day‑shift staff regarding resident status and overnight events
- Maintain compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and quality standards
- Promote a safe, respectful, and comforting environment for residents overnight
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
- Previous experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
