Position: Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Location: Holdrege

Step into a pivotal role as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery and become a cornerstone in families’ most meaningful moments. Based in Holdrege, Nebraska, you’ll join a hospital that values clinical excellence, compassion, and collaborative care while you guide labor and delivery from early labor through birth and postpartum recovery. This opportunity merges hands‑on perinatal expertise with the flexibility of a broader traveling program, empowering you to influence outcomes, educate families, and design a career that embraces both skill advancement and personal growth.

Holdrege’s welcoming community, paired with Nebraska’s generous spirit and wide‑open spaces, provides a balanced setting where you can focus on clinical mastery while enjoying time outside the hospital—exploring parks, trails, and the region’s quiet, scenic charm.

Working in Holdrege offers the appeal of a close‑knit community paired with the chance to participate in diverse clinical experiences. The location presents a manageable pace, lower cost of living, and a strong sense of camaraderie among staff, patients, and families. For traveling professionals, there’s also the broader opportunity to be placed in select facilities across the U.S., enriching your practice with exposure to different perioperative protocols, patient populations, and hospital cultures.

You’ll benefit from a welcoming environment that respects work‑life balance, while still delivering the professional challenges and opportunities you crave. Our program is designed to let you grow your L&D skill set—whether refining labor support strategies, enhancing cesarean‑section assistance, or expanding lactation education—within a framework that prioritizes patient dignity and safety.

In this role, you will lead and support labor and delivery care, including continuous fetal monitoring, triage and assessment, admission and discharge planning, and postpartum patient education. You’ll collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiology teams, and neonatal staff to coordinate care plans, respond to rapidly evolving situations, and implement evidence‑based practices that improve outcomes for mothers and babies. You’ll have the opportunity to mentor newer nurses, participate in ongoing in‑service training, and pursue specialty certifications that broaden your scope.

The position offers a robust compensation package, with weekly pay ranging from $2,830 to $2,962, and guaranteed 36 hours per week, ensuring financial stability while you explore new settings. Flexible duration, aligned with contractual needs, allows you to commit to assignments that fit your life and professional goals, including potential extensions that deepen skill development and hospital integration. Housing assistance helps ease transitions between communities, while a comprehensive benefits framework supports your wellness and career aspirations.

You’ll also receive a you-versus-uncertainties approach to support, with 24/7 assistance from our traveling healthcare specialists, ensuring you’re never alone on the road.

Our program is built on a foundation of values that empower you to advance your career in a supportive, growth‑oriented environment. We’re dedicated to nurturing your clinical leadership and expanding your capabilities through access to mentorship, continuing education, and structured extension pathways. At the core is a belief that your expertise deserves an environment that respects your contributions, values your professional development, and provides clear paths to increased responsibilities and leadership roles.

We celebrate teamwork, integrity, and the pursuit of excellence in every patient interaction, and we’re committed to creating a culture where nurses feel supported, heard, and inspired to reach new heights.
