Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Long-Term Care in Nebraska

Join a respected healthcare team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Nebraska’s vibrant LTC community. This pivotal leadership role offers the opportunity to impact resident care while advancing your nursing career in a dynamic, supportive environment. As ADON, you'll assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Your leadership will motivate staff and promote a collaborative atmosphere focused on quality service.

Required Skills:

Active RN license in Nebraska

Strong leadership and communication skills

Knowledge of LTC regulations and compliance standards

Ability to manage staff and handle administrative responsibilities effectively

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

Skills:

Prior experience as an ADON or in a supervisory nursing role

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems

BLS/CPR certification

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in long-term care settings

Other Requirements:

Must pass background checks and drug screening

Willingness to participate in ongoing training and compliance standards
