Locum Staff Nurse (Operating Theatre – Day Surgery)
Sector: Healthcare
Employment Type: Locum (Ad Hoc Basis)
Location: West
Salary: $29 per hour
This role supports day surgery operating theatre services. You will be deployed on an ad-hoc basis when manpower is required. The setting is strictly office hours with no overnight or inpatient cases.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Office hours only
- No night shifts
Work Setting:
- Day Surgery Operating Theatre
- No inpatient wards
- No overnight cases
Job Scope:
- Assist doctors during day surgery procedures
- Perform scrub and circulating duties
- Prepare and check operating theatre instruments and equipment
- Maintain sterility and safety standards in the operating theatre
- Assist with post-procedure patient monitoring
- Support documentation and daily OT workflow
Requirements:
- Must have prior Operating Theatre / Day Surgery experience
- Able to commit on an ad-hoc locum basis
