Salary Range: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour
Travel: Required to support multiple locations within 150-mile radius of permanent address. Mileage reimbursement provided.
Premium Pay Rates: $5.00/hr on all hours worked; $1.25/hr weekend shift differential; $1.25/hr evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Scheduling Requirements- Minimum of 30 hours per month
- One weekend shift per month
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and inter‑disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting.
Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsible for the coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education, and various other nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within job descriptions and competence levels. Provides support and ensures safe, reliable administration of resident care.
Requirements
3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
Qualifications- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN).
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or possesses multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
- Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
