Piercing Studio Nurse

About This Role

Rowan's Piercing Studio Nurse reports to the Studio Manager and is dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and joyful ear‑piercing experience. The role leverages high‑level nursing skills to perform piercings with utmost care and precision, building trust and excitement for each customer.

• Provide a magical and memorable customer experience by combining top‑notch clinical care with a celebratory atmosphere during each session.
• Ensure customer safety and comfort, and maintain smooth flow of customer care.
• Communicate confidently and professionally with clients throughout their piercing experience.
• Educate customers on aftercare and promote Rowan's After Care program.
• Conduct thorough ear evaluations to identify ideal placement and offer personalized styling advice.
• Actively monitor the customer experience, quickly addressing and resolving any issues.
• Maintain a sterile, aseptic environment at the nurse station and on the procedure tray, ensuring all instruments are clean and properly sanitized.
• Use expert knowledge of skin care and infection control to provide professional, personalized services.
• Collaborate with the Studio Manager to keep operations running smoothly and foster a joyful atmosphere.
• Flexibly fill shifts as needed and mentor new nurses, shadowing and observing customer interactions.
• Ensure the nurse cart, mayo stand, and nook are stocked with necessary supplies and ready for customer needs.
• Sanitize jewelry and needling instruments to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Follow state, federal, and CDC guidelines to guarantee a sanitary and safe piercing experience.
• Support studio metrics, including revenue growth, efficiency in piercing services, and average order value.
• Educate customers on Rowan After Care and the benefits of hypoallergenic, non‑piercing jewelry.
• Escalate operational concerns promptly, ensuring clear communication with management and team members to implement solutions efficiently.

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license.
• Professional and engaging customer care approach.

• Capable of providing both technical and non‑technical information to customers and community members.
• Interest in working in a retail environment with sales goals.
• Obsessive attention to detail.
• Availability for flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Newly licensed nurses are welcome; additional training in pediatrics and/or ear‑piercing is a plus.

• Compensation: $26–51 per hour (base $26 plus estimated $25 per hour in tips when fully trained).
