A healthcare facility in Elkhorn, NE is seeking a dedicated Night PCU Registered Nurse with step-down unit experience for a 13-week contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an RN with strong clinical skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient care in a progressive medical setting.
Responsibilities include closely monitoring patients in the progressive care unit, administering medications, collaborating with the healthcare team to implement care plans, and responding promptly to patient needs. The position requires vigilance and the ability to manage complex patient conditions during night shifts.
Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

* Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

* Minimum of 2 years as an RN, with at least 1 year experience in a step-down or progressive care unit

* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

* NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

* Strong critical thinking and communication skills
