Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing skilled nursing care in a progressive care unit requires a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse well-versed in patient monitoring and critical care support. This opportunity is designed for RNs with a strong background in stepdown or progressive care environments who are ready to contribute their expertise to a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit (PCU).

* Monitor patient status closely and respond promptly to changes in condition.

* Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

* Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards.

* Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications and

Experience:

* Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.

* Minimum of 2 years experience in unit-based nursing, preferably in stepdown or PCU settings.

* Certifications required:
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

* Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently during night shifts.

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Schedule and Commitment:

* Night shifts, 12 hours each.

* Guaranteed 36 hours per week.

* Contract position offering flexibility and valuable experience.
