Job Summary
Join a compassionate and patient-centered healthcare team providing care to in-patients and Emergency Department patients. This role involves oversight, delegation, and coordination of total nursing care in alignment with organizational goals and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for various patient types including Medical, Surgical, Obstetrical, Pediatric, ER, and Telemetry/Cardiac.

• Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare team members to manage patient care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments safely and timely.

• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately.

• Implement infection control practices including PPE usage.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with HIPAA.

• Maintain a high level of customer service and contribute to a professional work environment.

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

• Current RN license in Nebraska.

• One year of full-time rural healthcare experience preferred.

• Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred.
Certifications Required

• Basic Life Support (CPR)

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Required within 2 years of employment

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

• Valid Driver’s License

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs frequently and assist with lifting up to 300 lbs occasionally.

• Capable of standing, walking, kneeling, and operating a motor vehicle.

• Visual acuity including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
