As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you will provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will:

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
• Contribute to resident assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents and healthcare providers.
• Communicate clearly while maintaining confidentiality.
• Counsel residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; an Associate degree is preferred.
• If required, completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or have a minimum of 400 hours of experience as an LPN.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board.
• Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training.
