Surgery Registered Nurse (Full-Time)

Location: Cozad, NE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Status: Full-Time
Pay Range: $29.81 – $49.69/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgery Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team. This full-time role includes providing high-quality nursing care to surgical patients throughout the pre-operative, intraoperative, and recovery phases. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, no call, no weekends , and a competitive benefits package.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Perform comprehensive admission assessments and medication reconciliation
• Prepare and coordinate surgical procedures with department leadership
• Provide pre-op and post-op care, including recovery room responsibilities

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN)
• 1+ year of experience in a surgical or perioperative setting preferred
• EHR experience preferred

• Current RN license in the State of Nebraska
• BLS (CPR) – Required
• ACLS – Required within 1 year of hire
• PALS – Required within 1 year of hire
• AORN Perioperative 101 – Required within 2 years
• TNCC & NRP only required if working in the Emergency Department
• Valid Driver’s License

• Hospital-based surgical department
• Moderate noise environment typical of OR, inpatient, and emergency settings
• Fast-paced setting requiring attention to detail and teamwork
