Registered Nurse – RN – Local Traveler

Apply to Sanford Health as an RN local traveler within a not-for-profit facility. The position is a part-time PRN role with variable shift hours within a 150‑mile radius of your primary address. Minimum 30 hours per month, with at least one weekend shift per month. Trainees must possess an active R.N. license and meet the required competency, and may receive premium pay rates and mileage reimbursement.

Pay Range

$32.00–$48.00 per hour

Additional compensation: $5 per hour premium on all hours worked, $1.25 per hour weekend shift differential, $1.25 per hour evening/night shift differential.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, collaborates with family and interdisciplinary team members, monitors patient status, and may serve as charge nurse. The RN is responsible for assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, resident education, and coordinate care in accordance with state nurse practice act and standards of practice.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA);
    Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
  • Active unencumbered RN license in the state of practice; multistate licensure acceptable if in NLC state.
  • Must acquire or maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
