- Travel required within 150-mile radius of permanent address.
- Mileage reimbursement.
- Premium Pay Rates: $5/hour on all hours worked.
- $1.25/hour weekend shift differential.
- $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- 3 months of experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
- Minimum of 30 hours per month.
- One weekend shift per month.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and inter‑disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting.
Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsible for coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education, and various nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe and reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns. Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
