A Shop Assistant is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the manufacturing shop. This role involves various tasks that contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the manufacturing. The ideal candidate is a reliable, hardworking individual with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn, develop, and grow in the role.

• Assist in the maintenance and organization of the shop area such as sweeping and taking out trash.
• Support the shop manager and other staff members with daily tasks.
• Organize and maintain shop equipment and tools.
• Clean and maintain work spaces to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• Assist in the preparation and processing of orders.
• Complete “parts run” when needed to ensure jobs are completed.
• Load and unload materials and products as needed.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and customers.
• Work Schedule:
  
  Monday-Thursday 7:00-3:30pm and Friday 8:30-5:00pm.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not required.
• Basic knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
