Job Description
Advance Services is seeking motivated, hardworking individuals for quality assurance positions in the Waverly area. This person is responsible for ensuring products meet specifications and quality standards by performing inspections using tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measurement equipment. Duties include conducting first piece, in-process, and final inspections according to documented procedures, and assisting operators in interpreting technical drawings and quality criteria.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate inspection records, logging defects, assisting with root cause analysis, and updating procedures as needed.
The role involves testing incoming raw materials, performing cycle counts in hold areas, and adjusting work hours to meet production demands.
Candidates are expected to follow all safety and quality protocols, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and communicate effectively with team members. Reliable attendance and adherence to workplace policies are essential.
The role requires the ability to lift to 35 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and work both independently and as part of a team in a climate‑controlled manufacturing environment that may involve exposure to noise, dust, or fumes.
Hours are Mon‑Fri 7:45‑4 pm. Pay starts at $18.
