Sanitation Technician – Christensen Farms

Join our team as a full‑time Sanitation Technician supporting one of the largest family‑owned pork producers in the United States. This role focuses on maintaining clean and safe truck and trailer systems through biosecurity protocols.

• Proper cleaning and disinfecting of livestock trailers
• Cleaning of pits and wash bays
• Washing of clothes and towels
• Communicate effectively with the Truck Wash Supervisor and other wash and dry bay staff
• Follow all wash Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform light duty maintenance as needed
• Inform the Truck Wash Supervisor of equipment issues
• Suggest, plan, and implement Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist in providing a safe work environment
• Provide feedback to the Truck Wash Supervisor
• Assist the Truck Wash Supervisor in ordering supplies to maintain appropriate inventory
• Care and maintenance of equipment

Position requires a minimum lifting ability of 50 lbs. Ideal candidates will be dependable, able to learn new tasks and follow directions, and work with minimal supervision. Position requires strong attention to detail.

Full time – Daytime hours with occasional overtime.

Salary: $22.00 per hour
