Branch Manager – Building Materials
O’Neill, Nebraska
Ready to lead a respected lumberyard in a strong rural Nebraska market? We’re representing a privately held, multi-location building products dealer with deep roots and a clear vision for strengthening and improving operations.
This role is about leading one branch well—supporting builder and contractor customers, developing your team, and driving steady and profitable growth.

- You’re a lifelong learner – you love podcasts, books, and self-improvement
- Steady, practical leader who earns respect from contractors and employees alike
- A strong leader who understands that sales and profit are key to business success
- At least 5 years into your LBM or building products career with sales and management experience
- Management or team leadership experience in a retail, yard, or contractor-facing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and work through takeoffs and estimates
- Experience managing contractor accounts and projects from start to finish
- Past success sales in the lumber, building materials, or building products industry
- Experience selling windows, doors, siding, decking is highly preferred
- Lead a 5-person team and set daily direction for focus and execution
- Oversee daily operations—inventory, orders, yard flow, and project coordination
- Take care of existing builder and contractor customers while developing new relationships in the market
- Ensure the branch is on track to meet its sales and operational targets
- Work closely with senior leadership and contribute ideas that strengthen the business as a whole as well as your branch
- A strong compensation package based on your experience and expertise, including base salary and bonus potential tied to performance
